The problem
Nine Elms needed event coverage that captured the energy of the day and the community around it.
What we made
A fast-cut event film shot on the day, with vertical social edits for Instagram.
The result
A recap film that keeps the event alive online and builds anticipation for the next one.
The background
Nine Elms 2024 was a community event with real energy in the room, and the usual problem: once the day ends, the atmosphere disappears with the crowd.
The goal was coverage that captured the feeling of the day well enough to sell next year's event before tickets go live.
How we approached it
- We shot handheld and stayed in the crowd, prioritising reactions and moments over wide establishing shots.
- The edit is cut to pace, front-loading the strongest moments so it holds attention in a feed.
- Vertical versions were framed on the day rather than cropped afterwards.
The results
- 01
A recap that keeps the event visible online long after the day
- 02
Ready-made anticipation content for the next edition
- 03
Assets partners and sponsors could share directly
