The problem
Acuiti needed to explain a research and intelligence proposition to senior finance audiences without sounding abstract.
What we made
A studio-shot presenter film with brand motion graphics and subtitles, cut for web and LinkedIn.
The result
A clear, on-brand explainer the team leads with when introducing Acuiti to new clients.
The background
Acuiti sell research and intelligence to senior people in financial markets. The value is real, but it lives in reports, dashboards and conversations that a new prospect never sees before they buy.
The brief was to make an abstract, data-led proposition feel human and concrete in under two minutes, in a format the team could put in front of a managing director without apology.
How we approached it
- We built the film around a single presenter so the intelligence had a face and a voice rather than a logo and a chart.
- Motion graphics were used sparingly, only to visualise the parts of the proposition that words alone made vague.
- The script was cut back until every line answered one of three questions: who is this for, what do you actually get, and why does it matter now.
The results
- 01
A single explainer the team now leads with in new client introductions
- 02
Consistent messaging across sales conversations instead of ad-hoc pitches
- 03
A reusable studio format for future proposition films
